Organic whey protein concentrate added to this breakfast whey protein smoothie gives you a delicious, nutritious start to your day. This delicious drink gives you 26 grams of protein for about 250 calories. It is low in fat, but each meal should have some “good” fat in it, so this would be a good time for you to take your omega-3 oil supplement. This smoothie is an easy and nutritious meal replacement any time of the day.
Try this recipe:
1 cup plain, fat-free, organic yogurt
1 scoop Action Whey protein concentrate
1/2 cup organic, fresh or frozen, unsweetened strawberries
Blend all ingredients until smooth. Enjoy!
Remember: the best whey protein powder is the concentrate form and is organic!
Tip: If you struggle with depression or insomnia, try adding half a banana to this smoothie. The tryptophan in the banana helps lift your mood and will help you sleep better too.

Update! I’ve been learning a lot about the truly amazing benefits of coconut oil, so I have started adding 2 Tablespoons of melted coconut oil to my morning smoothie. Coconut oil melts at 76 degrees which makes it very easy to melt over a little hot water. Make your smoothie as usual and then, with the blender running, slowly add the coconut oil. The result is a smooth, rich, milkshake-like treat. And, believe it or not, adding coconut oil actually helps you lose weight!! It is all good.
